I love my socks! I have a lot of pairs… with holes! But, wait! Darning knitted socks? I did that just one time and I don’t remember how to do it again. I’ve never darned socks bought in a store, but my knitted socks are more precious.
The last crochet motif pattern I posted here is on July 5th… some weeks ago. What have I learned with this little motif? How to make a spike stitch. This word always makes me smile because when I hear it, I saw hair spikes or spikes on shoes or a jacket, not on a crochet motif! ;)
How many crochet or knitting books do you have? I won’t tell you how many I have! ;) But, I’m always returning to the same ones because they inspired me a lot.
Sometimes I have strange ideas like retaking the photos for my knitting patterns to change a little the presentation in my stores! Oh my, if you had seen that! Yesterday morning, I was in the living room retaking the photos. On the couch, there were so much knitted shawls, scarfs, and cowls. I realized at this moment that I knitted a lot the lasts years. :)
For two days, I stopped knitting to crochet these two washcloths. I love to crochet these kinds of items because they are faster to made and satisfying. In some hours, I have new finished products, fewer yarns in my stash so I can look to buy more! ;)
Oh, yarns! What can we do without them?
For July, the Summer Scarf is perfect: it’s in cotton, and the lace gives a summer look. If you prefer, you can also knit it in wool. It’s easier to block it and see the stitch used even when you wear it.
The pleasure of knitting is not just the yarn, the final project or the WIP. There are also beautiful knitting tools to use, buy and collect! :)
