Textured Washcloth with a different way to make the single crochet stitch

For two days, I stopped knitting to crochet these two washcloths.

I love to crochet these kinds of items because they are faster to made and satisfying. In some hours, I have new finished products, fewer yarns in my stash so I can look to buy more! ;)

If you have a gift to offer, washcloths are a good solution. Crochet 3 and tied a beautiful ribbon around them. Put in a bag with a bottle of soap or a special homemade soap.

I have three more Textured Washcloths in my Etsy shop. Their names are not very original: Textured Washcloth 1, 2, 3 and now, 4. I don’t know if you are like me, often, I don’t find original names for my items. ;)

For the washcloth patterns that I offer, I always try to find stitches different from just the single crochet, half double crochet or double crochet we often find in this type of items. I want to make these special.

Here, I used a different way to make the single crochet stitch. It’s faster than the sc.

Débarbouillettes texturées en utilisant une façon différente de faire le point “single crochet” (maille serrée)

Durant deux jours, j’ai arrêté de tricoter pour crocheter ces deux débarbouillettes. Débarbouillette ? Oui, oui, au Québec, nous utilisons ce mot au lieu de carré-éponge. ;) Si vous utilisez un autre mot, j’aimerais bien le connaître. :)

J’aime crocheter ce genre d’item car c’est rapide à créer et c’est très satisfaisant. En quelques heures, j’ai de nouveaux produits terminés, moins de fils dans mon inventaire et je peux regarder pour en acheter de nouveaux! ;)

Si vous avez un cadeau à offrir, c’est une bonne solution. Crochetez-en 3, nouez-les avec un beau ruban. Déposez-les dans un joli sac avec une bouteille de savon ou un savon spécial fait main.

J’ai trois autres modèles de débarbouillette dans ma boutique Etsy. Leurs noms ne sont pas très originaux : Textured Washcloths 1, 2, 3 et maintenant, 4. Je ne sais pas si vous êtes comme moi, souvent, je n’arrive pas à trouver un nom original pour mes items. ;)

Pour ces patrons, j’utilise toujours des points différents du single crochet (maille serrée), du half double crochet (demi-bride) ou du double crochet (bride simple) que nous trouvons souvent dans ce type d’item. J’aime que le résultat soit différent de ce qu’on voit habituellement.

Ici, j’ai utilisé une façon différente de faire le single crochet (maille serrée). C’est plus rapide car le projet “monte” un peu plus vite.
